House rules
In the waiting room
Upon entering, please sign in at the counter.
Please keep your dog on a short lead.
Cats should be in a proper transport basket.
Some dogs and/or cats are frightened. Please bear this in mind and do not let animals near each other.
Accidents (urinating and/or defecating) may happen in the waiting room. Please report this to the reception desk.
Dogs known to react aggressively should wear a muzzle or wait outside until called by the vet.
Manners
We treat each other with respect.
You are not a nuisance to other clients or visitors.
We do not accept swearing, spitting, discriminatory language, yelling, threats or physical violence.
If the above manners are not observed, we will discontinue treatment and ask you to find another veterinarian.
Appointments
To visit the vet, you should always make an appointment in advance.
Are you unable to come to the appointment? Then you should cancel at least 24 hours beforehand.
Are you unable to come to an operation? Then you should cancel at least 24 hours in advance.
Are you unable to come to a dental treatment? Then you should cancel at least 48 hours in advance.
Do you fail to cancel on time? Or do you forget to cancel your appointment and do not turn up? Then we may still charge you for the consultation.
Do you have a lot of questions? Then we ask you to request a telephone consultation. We cannot guarantee your privacy at the counter.
Liability
Entering and staying at our premises is at your and your pet's own risk.
Payments
After a consultation, you must pay in cash or by pin.
We charge extra for payments by credit card.
For proper treatment, it is sometimes necessary for your pet to come for check-ups more than once. These repeat consultations take time and therefore we cannot make them free of charge.
Return of goods
Sold medicines are only taken back for destruction (legal requirement). You will not receive any money back.
You can return food within 14 days, but only unopened and with a still valid expiry date.
Provision of medicines
Prescription drugs should only be dispensed during and after a consultation or after consulting the vet.
Some drugs, such as vaccinations, may only be administered by a veterinarian.
